A SIP trunk connects your PBX, dialer or softswitch to our network. A SIP phone account is a number and a password for one phone or one person. You can use either, or both.

SIP trunk

  • A SIP trunk lets your PBX, dialer or softswitch send calls to any destination.
  • Register with a username and password, or connect from your server's IP, so nothing has to register.
  • Your calls are charged to the balance in your account.

SIP phone

  • A SIP phone account is a number and a password for one phone, one softphone or one agent.
  • Use a desk phone, a softphone app, or the Web Dialer in your browser.
  • A call limit can be set for each account, so one phone cannot use all your lines.

  • Watch live calls.
  • See your rates, and every call record, answered or not, with the reason it ended.

What is the difference between a SIP trunk and a SIP phone account?

A trunk carries many calls for a PBX or a dialer. A SIP phone account is for one person's phone or softphone. You can have both and manage them in the same portal.

Can I use my own PBX or dialer?

Yes, if it speaks SIP. Tell us what you use and how many calls you send, and we will help you set it up.

Do I need a fixed IP?

Only if you want to connect by IP. If you register with a username and password, your IP can change.

Can I limit the calls on each account?

Yes. A call limit can be set for each account.

Can I use a SIP phone in the browser?

Yes. The Web Dialer places calls from the browser using your account.
