The Web Dialer places a call from your browser. You need a headset and nothing else: no software and no desk phone.

Incoming DTMF decoding

  • DTMF is the tone a phone makes when a key is pressed. When the person you call presses keys, the Web Dialer decodes the tones and shows you the digits.
  • It helps when the other side answers with key presses: a customer pressing 1 to confirm, a menu choice, or a code.

What you see while you call

  • A timer that starts when the other number answers, not when your page connects.
  • Level meters for your microphone and for their voice, so you see at once if sound flows both ways.
  • A plain sentence that says what is wrong when sound does not flow, and a short report you can send us.

Where it works

  • In your portal, as the Web Dialer, for calls on your own account.
  • For your agents inside the Cloud Auto Dialer: they take and place calls on the same browser phone.

Do I need to install software?

No. You need a browser and a headset or microphone.

What is DTMF decoding?

DTMF is the tone of a phone key. Decoding means the Web Dialer reads the tones the other person sends and shows you the digits.

Does it work for my agents too?

Yes. Agents in the Cloud Auto Dialer use the same browser phone.

What if I cannot hear the other person?

The Web Dialer tells you whether sound is arriving and being sent, and can give you a short report to send us.

How are the calls paid for?

Calls are charged to your One Connection balance, like your other traffic.
